Wednesday morning forecast October 7th

Temperatures will cool slightly more today. The coast will see temperatures in the 60s to 70s, and inland will be in the 80s.

A dense fog advisory is in affect over the central coast and into the Santa Ynez Valley. Some roadways may have visibility of less than one quarter mile. Drivers should take caution.

Overnight clouds and fog continue with a strong marine layer. Onshore flow will push the marine layer further in each day, reaching the valleys by Thursday. The cloud cover will cool temperatures another couple of degrees by the end of the week. By Thursday, temperatures will be slightly below normal on the coast, but remain slightly above normal inland.

Cloudier skies are in the picture for this weekend. There is still a slight chance of rain on Saturday, but any rain will by very light.

Sunday and into next week, Santa Ana winds are expected, warming temperatures and creating very dry conditions. The coast will probably see temperatures in the 80s to 90s, and inland will also reach the 90s.
