Warm first weekend of fall

High pressure will rebuild over the region this weekend, resulting in a warming trend Saturday and Sunday. More significant warming is expected early next week as offshore winds strengthen. Very gradual cooling is expected late in the week.

Over the weekend, an upper level high will build just off the California coast. This will bring a gradual warming trend.

Expecting some morning cloud cover followed by afternoon sunshine over the weekend.  Offshore flow should push most low clouds off the Central Coast by daybreak.  Saturday night into Sunday morning expect a marine layer for Santa Barbara South Coast and coastal Ventura County.  Highs on Saturday will be in the mid 70s to low 80s along the coast and 90s inland.

Sunday temperatures will increase a bit more. Monday Santa Ana winds will jump temperatures up dramatically in Ventura County. Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo County expect a gradual warm up through Wednesday.  Bright and breezy conditions are expected to last for the next week with above average temperatures.
