Bright and Breezy Forecast

Locally gusty north winds will occur along the Central Coast, Santa Barbara South Coast and mountains through Friday with slightly cooler temperatures. Morning low clouds and fog will be confined near the coast for Ventura County. A significant warming trend is on tap beginning this weekend and continuing through next week.

High pressure over the region today will flatten to our south on Friday as a shortwave trough slides across southwest California.  Offshore winds today brought Central Coast beach cities into the 80s and 90s today.  Gusty winds are expected to continue tonight.  A Wind Advisory is in effect for the Santa Barbara South Coast and Mountains until 3AM Friday.  This will keep temperatures warmer overnight.

Tomorrow as a trough passes by temperatures will cool but are expected to stay above average 70s to low 80s at the coast, and 80s inland.  Skies should stay mostly sunny.

Very little change for Friday night and Saturday.

By Sunday, high pressure will build and start a gradual warming trend.  Highs along the coast will be in the 80s inland spots in the 90s to triple digits.
