Monday morning forecast May 18th

Santa Barbara, Calif. - A weak cold front brought light to moderate amounts of rain to the California Central Coast and South Coast late Sunday night and Monday morning, and the front continues its march eastward over our area. We'll have mainly morning rain showers followed by gusty afternoon wind, and highs will stay seasonably mild in the 60s and lower 70s.

Although there is another slight chance for light showers along the Central Coast late tonight and early Tuesday, our clouds will be decreasing from Tuesday through Thursday with high pressure building overhead. We can expect a gradual onshore push Friday and Saturday which will bring a minor cooling, with a slight warming again by Sunday.

Daytime highs will be quite comfortable for mid to late May for our area, with inland warming late this week. Most highs will be in the 60s and 70s, with some lower to mid 80s late this week and this weekend in our inland valleys. Overnight lights will stay fairly steady and mild, ranging from the mid 40s to the mid 50s through this weekend.
