Wednesday morning forecast May 13th

Santa Barbara, Calif. - The weak cold front which brought light amounts of rain and breezes to the California Central Coast and South Coast is long gone, but unsettled weather will continue for our area. After some morning marine layer clouds and fog, we can expect sunshine and stronger wind along with slightly warmer temperatures. Highs will range from the upper 60s to the upper 70s.

The jetstream will remain over California through the end of the workweek, and we can expect the return of strong, gusty wind each day. Saturday won't be as windy, but we'll have breezes and increasing clouds. More clouds will push onshore Sunday along with cooler air, and there will be isolated rain showers early next week along with stronger wind by next Tuesday.

Daytime highs will rise to above-average levels late this week and this weekend before falling back below average early next week. Highs will be in the 60s and lower 70s along the coast, with 70s and lower 80s in our inland valleys. Overnight lows will remain milder than average due to increased wind and more clouds. Lows will range from the upper 40s to the upper 50s.
