Wednesday Morning Forecast April 29th

Santa Barbara, Calif. - Tuesday was a toasty day for many parts of the California Central Coast and South Coast, but that rapid warming is going away as quickly as it arrived. We can expect some areas of coastal fog and low clouds this morning, followed by a cooler mix of sunshine and high clouds this afternoon. Highs will range from the coastal upper 60s to the 80s further inland.

It's been a couple days since we've had strong wind in our area, but it will return as early as Thursday, and we'll have more windy than calm days through the next 7 days. We can expect strong wind, sunshine and warmth Thursday and Friday, slightly weaker wind Saturday, and a return of the strong wind Sunday and next Monday before the wind weakens next Tuesday.

Daytime highs will remain above average for all areas through early next week, but it won't be as warm as it has been. Highs will range from the upper 60s and lower 70s on the coast to the upper 70s and 80s further inland. Overnight lows will also remain quiet mild due to gusty wind and a mild airmass. Lows will range from the upper 40s to the upper 50s and lower 60s.
