Friday evening forecast – Jan. 31st

Sunny skies, warm temps and light winds will continue for Saturday. This is due to a ridge of high pressure that will continue to dominate Southern California allowing for temps to be significantly above average. Daytime highs along the coast and valleys will be in the mid to upper 70s.

A cold storm will arrive on Sunday prompting strong winds and cooler temps. Due to this change in our weather pattern a High Wind Watch will be in effect for Sunday with NW winds ranging from 25 to 40 mph and gusts up to 60 mph are possible. A Gale Watch will also be in effect from Point Conception through Point Mugu including Santa Cruz Island.

Strong wind will remain in the forecast through Monday with mild temps. Warmer conditions will begin for Tuesday through Friday with more sunshine.
