Tuesday morning forecast September 29

Due to a ridge of high pressure hot and dry conditions, will persists through Thursday. Peak heat is expected on Wednesday as daytime highs along the coastal areas warm in the 80s to 90s. Inland locations could reach the upper upper 90s to triple digit heat. This will then allow highs to remain 15 to 20 degrees above average. By Friday temperatures will gradually begin to cool down and likely be near average on Sunday.

A Fog Advisory will remain in effect across Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Central Coast through Tuesday at 9 AM. Due the marine layer some beaches could remain overcast. While an offshore flow along the South Coast will allow for conditions to completely clear, leading to warmer temperatures. Prompting a Heat Advisory across Ventura County until Thursday at 8 PM.

While cooling begins into Friday we're still looking at sunny skies. As a weak offshore flow will allow for clearing but changes are expected into Saturday. As the ridge begins to weaken this could bring more low level clouds and lead to more significant cooling.
