Thursday morning forecast September 10
A Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect along the coast of San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties through Thursday 9 AM.
Due to a weak offshore flow locally gusty winds could be expected across Ventura County on Thursday. Night to morning low clouds and fog will continue through the middle of next week. With most locations expected to remain near average or slightly above through next week, with minor changes from day to day.
Once again smoke derived from the wildfires across California, will dominate our region. As smoke lingers this could keep temperatures down a few degrees from their potential. Daytime highs along the Central and South Coast in the 60s to 70s. Interior valleys in the upper 80s to 90s.
As an upper ridge continues to linger across the region from Friday and into Saturday. Areas away from the coastline could experience some minor warming. However the main component to determining temperatures across the region, will be the smoke.
