Wednesday evening forecast April 28th

Low coastal clouds and fog allowed for slightly cooler temperatures on Wednesday. Activity will quickly diminish with sundowner winds back in the forecast for Thursday and Friday. This will allow for significantly warmer temperatures.

Gusty northerly winds move in near the Santa Ynez range and then towards the south coasts. With strong winds returning advisories could be possible along southern Santa Barbara Coasts and mountains. The change in pattern will allow temperatures to warm an additional 5-10 degrees. Highs along the south coasts will warm in the upper 70s to low 80s with some valleys in the mid to upper 80s.

Strong winds will allow for clear skies and plenty of sunshine through the weekend. Daytime highs along the coasts and interior valleys will remain well above average for the next several days. At this time there is no rain in the foreseeable future with a dry weather pattern holding strong for the next coming weeks.
