Wednesday morning forecast – Feb. 5th

Sub-freezing temperatures are likely for Wednesday morning with a Hard Freeze Warning, Freeze Warning and Frost Advisory in effect until 10 AM for the Central and South Coast. As a ridge of high pressure begins to build over Southern California temps will be slightly warmer. Daytime highs for Wednesday will be slightly below average with temps primarily in the low to mid 60s.

A warming trend will continue through Saturday with average temps and mostly sunny skies for Thursday. This will also prompt morning low clouds and some areas of patchy fog with clearing towards the afternoon. As temps warm conditions will be slightly above average for Friday and Saturday.

The next system will arrive for Sunday with more cloud coverage, cooler temps and a chance for mountain rain showers. We'll be tracking the latest at the First Alert Weather Center.
