New scoreboards are unveiled at MacKenzie Park

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - It took more than four years of planning and developing but the wait was worth it as two new scoreboards were a big hit during Opening Day ceremonies at Santa Barbara Pony Baseball

Not only were the new scoreboards unveiled at MacKenzie Park but it was a chance to thank those who worked tirelessly to make the project happen.

Santa Barbara Pony Baseball worked in collaboration with Santa Barbara Parks and Recreation on this project.

Randall Barnes of Signal Construction along with his team of subcontractors were recognized for their discounts, donations and work to make the scoreboard project a reality.

Representatives from each company threw out the ceremonial first pitch to a Pony player.
