San Marcos rallies to beat Dos Pueblos 49-46 in boys basketball.

GOLETA, Calif. - Andre McCullough drilled a go-ahead three-pointer with under 1:30 left in the game and Owen Lauderdale partially blocked a three-point attempt by Dos Pueblos in the closing seconds as the Royals edged the Chargers 49-46 in a Channel League game at Sovine Gym.

DP led 40-33 after three quarters but they could not keep the Royals from improving to 2-1 in league while the Chargers dropped to 0-3.

San Marcos jumped out to a 21-8 lead after the first quarter behind the guard play of Wyatt Miller and Joe Pasternack.

But DP roared back by behind senior standouts Grant Hughes and Joe Talarico.

The Chargers led 28-27 heading into halftime.
