CIF Southern Section baseball pairings announced

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - CIF Southern Section announced this year's First Round baseball matchups on Sunday, with several Ventura County and Santa Barbara County schools included.

Division 2

  • Dos Pueblos will play at Maranatha on Friday
  • Pacific View league champion Rio Mesa will host Alemany on Friday
  • Coastal Canyon champ Camarillo will host La Cañada on Friday

Division 3

  • Santa Barbara will host Saugus on Friday

Division 4

  • Oxnard will visit Paraclete on Friday

Division 5

  • On Thursday, Channel League champion San Marcos will host the winner of Tuesday's wild card game between Bishop Diego and Claremont
  • Santa Paula will play at Highland on Thursday
  • Ventura will visit Flintridge Prep on Thursday

Division 6

  • Buena will play at Foothill Tech on Friday
  • Carpinteria will host Crossroads in a wild card game on Wednesday
