Santa Barbara Dons win defensive struggle in boys basketball

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - It wasn't pretty but it's a win.

Santa Barbara bounced back from a lopsided loss at San Marcos and beat Santa Ynez 41-37.

Each team was playing their third game in four days and it showed offensively.

Landon Lassahn did score 18 points for the visiting Pirates.

Santa Barbara is scheduled to play four games next week.
