Lily Bienstock and Sam Meister were awarded the Athlete of the Week at the Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table Luncheon.

SANTA BARBARA, Calif.- Lily Bienstock had quite a week at San Marcos High School.

She officially signed to play soccer at Tufts University in Massachusetts and then went out and scored three goals in a 4-0 win at Cabrillo.

She was honored as the Female Athlete of the Week at the Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table weekly gathering.

The Male Athlete of the Week was presented to Santa Barbara High School volleyball star Sam Meister.

He had 25 kills and three blocks in a 4-set win over Newbury Park to open up the season for the Dons.

Meister signed with UCSB.
