Wesley Ghan Gibson named San Marcos HS baseball head coach

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - San Marcos High School announced that alum Wesley Ghan Gibson is the new head coach of the Royals varsity baseball team.

Gibson graduated San Marcos in 2014 where he was a standout in football, basketball and baseball.

He played baseball at Santa Barbara City College and at Cal State Northridge.

After college Gibson coached football and baseball at San Marcos.

He has plenty of talent to work with as current pitchers Chase Hoover and Henry Manfredonia have committed to TCU and UCSB respectively.

Gibson's baseball staff includes Morgan Moore, Steve Hardesty and Tom Meyers who will be an advisor.
