Salute to Seniors: Teagan Monroe won multiple CIF titles in swimming for Rio Mesa

Teagan Monroe will swim at UC San Diego

OXNARD, Calif. - Teagan Monroe made quite a splash in her time swimming at Rio Mesa High School.

Monroe won CIF-SS Division 3 CIF championships as a freshman in the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke.

She was a repeat champion in 2018 in the fly and came in second in the backstroke in both her sophomore and junior seasons.

While she swam for Rio Mesa High School, Monroe attended El Camino High School and graduated summa cum laude.

She will swim for UC San Diego.
