Salute to Seniors: 2-time CIF individual champion Tea Laughlin

Tea Laughlin is a 2-time individual CIF champion in the backstroke

VENTURA, Calif. - Tea Laughlin is not only one of the best high school swimmers in Ventura County but she is an Olympic hopeful.

In 2018 and in 2019 while swimming for Ventura High School, Laughlin won the CIF-SS 100-yard backstroke, setting a meet-record last year with a time of 52.63 seconds.

She also won CIF team titles with Ventura.

The senior will attend and swim for the University of California, Berkeley in the fall and plans on competing in the 2021 U.S. Olympic Team Trials.
