SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -From start to finish Armani Garcia dominated opposing batters during her three plus seasons of high school softball.
The Santa Ynez High School senior was off to a strong start to the 2020 season before it was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
As a freshman, Garcia helped pitch the Pirates to a CIF-SS Division 7 championship game appearance.
She was First Team All-Los Padres League in 2017 and 2018 and when the Pirates moved to the Channel League, Garcia was Co-MVP of the league racking up 259 strikeouts in 2019 in less than 150 innings of work.
Armani Garcia was thrilled to play for her dad, head coach Benny Garcia and she got to play one season with her older sister Anastazia Garcia.
Armani plans on attending Cal State Monterey Bay and hopes to play softball for the Otters.
