Lompoc wins league opener in girls basketball
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. Kayla Taylor scored 22 points and Mya Mendoza added 11 as Lompoc won at San Marcos 52-45 to tip off the Channel League season.
Ashley Day scored 18 points for the home Royals.
