Golden Tornado needs one more win to host a CIF title game in Santa Barbara

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The Golden Tornado will hit the road for another long bus ride this week as they play at Palmdale in a CIF-SS Division 8 semifinal game.

Santa Barbara won at Palm Desert 42-32 in a quarterfinal game.

Santa Barbara is expecting a tough game against a Falcons team that has already pitched five shutouts this season.

But if they can win, Santa Barbara will be guaranteed to play the CIF title game locally whether it's at San Marcos High School or Santa Barbara City College.

The prospect of playing in Santa Barbara for a CIF title is very motivating for the team as they get set for their road game in Palmdale.
