Miles Norris leads UCSB into first place in the Big West as the Gauchos whip Bakersfield

UCSB routs Bakersfield to take over first place in the Big West.

UC SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Miles Norris led UCSB with 24 points and 7 rebounds as they pounded Cal State Bakersfield 76-58 to move into first place in the Big West Conference.

The Gauchos are 7-1 in league, good for a half game lead over UC Irvine and UC Riverside.

Norris made 10-of-13 from the field including 4-of-6 from three-point distance.

The Gauchos ended the first half on an 18-4 run to open up a 39-24 lead.

Cole Anderson added 11 points off the bench as UCSB improved to 16-3 on the season.
