Righetti’s Persson signs with Emerson College
ORCUTT, Calif. - On Saturday, Righetti basketball player Paityn Persson officially signed to play basketball at Emerson College in Boston.
The senior fought through pandemic uncertainties by creating her own highlight reel and reaching out to college coaches during her downtime.
The hard work paid off. Emerson's head coach said Persson is the post player the program was looking for.
Persson is also a singer-songwriter who loves music. She will get to live out both her athletic and academic passions at Emerson--playing on the basketball team and studying at a school known for its creative arts programs.
