Santa Barbara Foresters set to welcome fans back for 2021 season

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The Santa Barbara Foresters dominated during the 2020 season en route to a 30-4 overall record and an NBC World Series title, but no local fans were able to watch games at Pershing Park due to the pandemic.

Restrictions are falling just in time for a new season, however. The Foresters play their first game of the 2021 campaign on Thursday at the Santa Paula Halos.

On Friday night at 6 p.m., the 'Sters will host the Halos in their home opener at Pershing Park. Fans will be allowed to attend games for the first time since 2019, and those fully vaccinated will not be required to wear a mask.
