SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - After losing on a buzzer-beater in their last matchup with rival Santa Barbara at Santa Barbara City College, San Marcos boys basketball was looking for revenge in the rematch.

This time, it was the Royals winning the crosstown rivalry as San Marcos hung on to a late lead to beat Santa Barbara 47-44 on Saturday night.

Tommy Condon hit a key three-pointer late in the game and sank some clutch free throws, and John Connolly sealed the win with a block of Jackson Gonzales at the final buzzer.
