Election officials weigh in on what can and can’t be done with election signs
VENTURA COUNTY, Calif. -- Election signs are just about everywhere you look in Ventura County.
Elections officials the dates campaign and proposition signs are allowed to go up and the dates they must be taken down depends on the rules made in each city or unincorporated community.
Signs on your property are fine, but signs on private property need permission.
It is also illegal to tamper with signs.
