Gang members charged for murder in parking structure in Ventura
VENTURA, Calif. -- Two gang members were charged with murder in Ventura on Wednesday.
Ventura County District Attorney Gregory D. Totten announced two members charged with a murder that happened on Sunday.
Raymond Bolanos, 24, Oxnard was charged with the murder of Alejandro Hernandez. It was based off a special allegation that he personally used a gun and a gang allegation in the murder of Hernandez.
Julian Nunez, 26, Ventura was also charged for his role in this incident with assault with a deadly weapon, a special allegation that he personally used a gun and a gang allegation.
On Sunday, Hernandez was fatally shot at a parking structure in the promenade area of Ventura in the early morning hours.
On Wednesday both Bolanos and Nunez appeared in court.
Their arraignments were continued to February 20 at 1:30 p.m. in courtroom 13 of the Ventura County Superior Court.
Bolanos and Nunez are currently in custody at the Ventura County Jail.
Bolanos has bail set at $1.4 million and Nunez has bail set at $290,000.
