Oxnard police investigate vehicle fire that injured one woman

Oxnard police and firefighters responded to two vehicles that were completely on fire Monday afternoon.

OXNARD, Calif. - Oxnard police are investigating a vehicle fire that left two cars engulfed in flames and one woman injured.

Police and fire crews responded to the 2100 block of Isabella Street in Oxnard around 2:05 p.m. after receiving multiple calls that a person was trapped inside a vehicle on fire.

When they arrived, the officers and firefighters found two vehicles fully engulfed in flames.

A woman was reportedly standing outside of the vehicles with non-life threatening burn injuries.

She was transported to St. John's Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Firefighters worked to extinguish the flames. No one else was found inside of the vehicles.

The cause of this sudden fire is still under investigation.
