Ventura County firefighters battle structure fire in Santa Paula

SANTA PAULA, Calif. - The Ventura County Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Cornell Drive in Santa Paula Saturday afternoon.

According to PulsePoint, multiple engines were dispatched to a residential home at 620 Cornell Drive around 1:45 p.m.

The fire department said the fire was located in the crawl space under the house. Firefighters completely extinguished the fire and were cleared from the scene by 2:18 p.m.

No injuries were reported. The fire department said the fire was contained to the crawl space.
