One dead following single-vehicle rollover crash south of Orcutt

SANTA MARIA VALLEY, Calif. - Emergency personnel with Santa Barbara County responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash south of Orcutt Saturday morning.

The crash happened around 7:16 a.m. on Highway 135 at Graciosa Road.

CHP officers reported finding a vehicle about 100 feet over the side of the highway on its roof.

Santa Barbara County firefighters responded alongside sheriff's deputies and AMR.

When County Fire arrived at the scene, crews reported finding one person inside the wrecked vehicle.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. No extrication was required to get them out of the wreckage.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by CHP.

Fire crews remained on scene to help cleanup and secure the area.
