Oxnard police conduct investigation on Mariposa Street

OXNARD, Calif. - The Oxnard Police Department announced they are conducting an active investigation in the area of the 2100 block of Mariposa Street Saturday afternoon.

The announcement came around 1:20 p.m.

Police said surrounding streets and alleys may be temporarily blocked during the investigation.

The public is advised to avoid those areas and find alternate routes to their destination until police have finished their work.
