Santa Barbara wine tasting rooms hoping for more customers with beaches partially closed

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -- Summer will unofficially end in Santa Barbara city and county without sunbathers on the beach. City and county officials closed the beaches to sitting, laying and gathering. The purpose to lessen the spread of COVID-19.

With one of Santa Barbara's two biggest draws partially closed, the other pastime is hoping to cash in.

On Friday, a handful of Santa Barbara wine tasting rooms told KEYT, they were expecting a big holiday weekend. There are a few tasting rooms near the beach offering ocean views.
