Lompoc Flower Festival kicks for first time in years, parade canceled due to financial burden

LOMPOC, Calif. – The Lompoc Flower Festival kicks off for the first time since the pandemic. 

The Lompoc Valley Festival Association said this year there will not be a parade due to financial constraints.

This year, the focus for the committee was to get the festival up and running. 

According to the website, the event will feature:

  • Carnival rides & games
  • Arts & crafts vendors
  • Food trucks/food booths
  • Daily live entertainment

It runs Friday, May 6th through Sunday, May 8th.
