Police searching for man who shot two people at Lompoc convenience store
LOMPOC, Calif. -- Lompoc police are searching for a man who allegedly shot two people at a 7-Eleven store in Lompoc on Monday night.
Police described the suspect as a Hispanic man with a black SUV.
On Monday at around 11:58 p.m., Lompoc police officers responded to the Lompoc Valley Medical Center's emergency room due to a report of two gunshot victims being treated for non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
In their investigation, they found that the shooting took place 30 minutes earlier at a 7-Eleven in Lompoc after an altercation between a group and another individual.
Police say the altercation started in the store and continued outside in the parking lot where the suspect shot at the group and struck two people.
The victims were uncooperative throughout the investigation and did not want any criminal charges.
Both victims were treated for their injuries in the emergency room and later released.
This is an ongoing investigation.
