Firefighters respond to encampment fire in Lompoc

LOMPOC, Calif. -- Lompoc City firefighters are responding to an encampment fire in Lompoc on Friday morning.

At around 8:15 a.m., Lompoc City Fire received reports of smoke by the Lompoc Airport and Highway 1.

Firefighters responded and found a brush fire in an encampment by the Robinson Bridge.

Firefighters are currently on scene of the fire.

Fire officials say the fire is not spreading.

They say no structures are threatened.

There are unknown injuries.
