Lawmakers send letter about Vandenberg’s exclusion from Space Command Site Selection

LOMPOC, Calif. - Some state lawmakers are asking why Vandenberg Air Force Base was excluded from the Space Command Headquarter site selection.

Senator Dianne Feinstein and local representative Salud Carbajal sent a letter today to the Secretary of Air Force.

The two want clarification on the selection process for the future location of Space Command Headquarters

The process ultimately excluded the Air Force Base from the list of finalists, after initially including it as one of three final choices.
