Santa Maria prepares to reopen fitness center

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department is excited to reopen its fitness Center.

Right now managers with the department say the room is too small to meet the health requirements.

So they are preparing to move all the equipment to a larger room. This will allow people to be able to exercise while maintaining a physical distance during the pandemic .

Everyone entering the facility will go through a health screening.
Each person will be allowed on an exercise equipment for a limited period of time.
