Local student filmmakers share Oscar nominated films that moved them

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — With the coveted Oscars ceremony right around the corner, local student filmmakers share their insight on the nominations.

Local cinephiles feel thrilled to finally be seeing a wide array of representation in cinema.

“Everything, Everywhere, All at Once,” “Black Panther,” “Tar,” and “The Whale” are just a few of the movies up for awards.

We will be speaking to students from Westmont College, who are in the process of releasing films of their own in the upcoming Inaugural Student Film Festival.
