Man taken to hospital after stabbing in Santa Barbara

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - A man was taken to the hospital for treatment of stab wounds Thursday afternoon in Santa Barbara.

At around 3:30 p.m., police were informed that a man showed up at the Westside Neighborhood Clinic on Micheltorena Street with stab wounds. He was later transported to the hospital for treatment of his wounds.

Police said the original incident happened along Walnut Avenue near the railroad tracks.

Details are limited, but the victim has been identified as a man in his 20s.

Santa Barbara police are investigating.
