Santa Barbara police arrest bar stabbing suspect

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -- Santa Barbara police arrested a man for the alleged bar stabbing that happened on September 25.
On Friday, Santa Barbara police arrested a male suspect for assault with a deadly weapon with a gang enhancement and a parole violation.Â
The arrest stems from a September 25 stabbing where Santa Barbara police responded to the 500 Block of State Street around 10:30 p.m.
Police responded after receiving reports that a bar stabbing had just occurred.
When they arrived, police reported finding one man suffering from multiple wounds to his body.
The victim was transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment.
The investigation is still ongoing.
