Santa Barbara County reports two additional deaths related to COVID-19

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. -- The Santa Barbara County Public Health Department reports two additional deaths related to COVID-19.

Both tested positive for the virus.

One was over 70 years old and lived in Santa Ynez Valley.

The other person was between the ages of 30-49 and lived in Mission Canyon in Santa Barbara.

Neither of the individuals lives in congregated care facilities.

Both had underlying medical conditions.

As of Wednesday, there are 109 total deaths in the County. There are 8,785 cases of COVID-19 with 8,497 of them recovered.
