Santa Barbara County reports additional death related to COVID-19, 90 deaths total

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -- Santa Barbara County Public Health reports an additional death related to COVID-19 on Wednesday evening.

Santa Barbara County Public Health Department says the deceased individual tested positive for COVID-19.

The patient was a Santa Barbara resident over 70 years of age, had underlying health conditions and lived in a congregate care facility in the unincorporated area of Mission Canyon.

This is the 90th death related to COVID-19 in the County.

There are now 7,916 COVID-19 cases in the County.
