Police looking for hit-and-run suspect in Goleta

GOLETA, Calif. -- Goleta City Police are looking for a hit-and-run suspect on Tuesday.

On Monday around 1:00 p.m., a vehicle struck a 93-year-old man riding his bike on the 5700 block of Calle Real.

The man was knocked off his bicycle and suffered moderate injuries in the collision.

The man was treated at the scene before being taken by an ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for further treatment of his injuries.

The driver of the vehicle that struck the man did not stop after the collision and instead fled westbound on Calle Real toward Fairview Avenue.

Police described the vehicle as a newer model four-door dark-colored sedan.
