Man arrested in San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office narcotics investigation

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - A man is in custody in San Luis Obispo County for having thousands of dollars worth of drugs on him.

On Tuesday, San Luis Obispo Sheriff's Special Operations Unit, County Probation and Homeland Security Investigations served a search warrant at a home in San Miguel.

Detectives found a large sweatshirt that was wrapped around a clear plastic bag, which contained a large amount of cocaine.

Detectives say they seized about 1.5 pound of the drug. They say that's worth about $30,000.

The man was arrested for possession of a narcotic controlled substance for sale and booked into the County Jail.
