Caltrans to close Highway 101 in Nipomo for utility work
NIPOMO, Calif. -- Caltrans will close Highway 101 for utility work on the morning of December 13.
On the morning of December 13, Caltrans will have intermittent closures of Highway 101 between Joshua Road and South Thompson Road in Nipomo between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m.
This is due to utility work on wires that are being moved by helicopters across the highway.
CHP will be managing and making the rolling stops.
PG&E will be doing the utility work on the Highway under a permit from Caltrans.
Caltrans says the intermittent rolling closures and temporary stops will not exceed five to ten minutes.
