PASO ROBLES, Calif. -- Paso Robles Recreation Services reopened some sport fields for youth sport organizations on Sunday.

The recreation service reopened a limited amount of sport fields.

They are working with the State and the County to help ensure safety of all coaches and participants.

The fields will be limited to practice and physical conditioning with competitive play, games and tournaments not yet allowed.

The recreation services say the adult league is still not permitted due to State and County guidelines.

The Recreation Services Manager Lynda Plescia commented, "We’re thrilled to be able to take this step in the right direction to support youth sports in our community. We realize the importance of youth sports in Paso Robles, and we are looking forward to reopening all of the fields to provide safe activities in compliance with the current guidelines."

Field reservations are now available at Barney Schwartz Park.
