Road closed in Grover Beach after tree falls on car

GROVER BEACH, Calif. -- Grover Beach police warns drivers to avoid North 4th Street after a tree fell on a car on Thursday afternoon.

On Thursday afternoon, Grover Beach police responded to reports of a car accident involving a fallen tree.

At arrival, officers found that a large tree fell on a car in the roadway.

Officers have now blocked off the road north of Ocean View and to Five Cities Drive in Grover Beach.

Police say there were minor injuries.
