At around 10:07 a.m., Cal Fire SLO and Five Cities Fire Department responded to reports of a residential fire on the 2600 block of Fowler Lane near Mesa View Drive in Nipomo.

SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif. -- Cal Fire SLO and Five Cities Fire Department knocked down a residential fire on Tuesday morning south of Arroyo Grande.

At arrival, they found the 1,100 square foot home was engulfed in fire.

Fire officials say the fire destroyed 95 percent of the home.

No persons nor animals were injured.

The home residents were able to get out of the home safely.

Firefighters were able to knock down the fire. They are currently mopping up the scene.

The cause is under investigation.
