Arroyo Grande police looking for driver who hit pedestrian and fled from scene

ARROYO GRANDE, Calif. - The Arroyo Grande Police Department is asking for the public's help to locate the driver of a vehicle who hit a pedestrian and then fled the scene.

It happened Wednesday at around 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of E. Grand Avenue and El Camino Real.

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and seriously injured. The driver then fled the scene of the crash.

The victim described the vehicle as a newer model Toyota sedan or similar vehicle. The driver was described as a white woman with blonde hair in her mid-20s to early-30s.

The vehicle she was driving likely has front end damage on the driver's side.

Police are asking for anyone with information about the crash to come forward. If you witnessed the crash of have any additional information, you are urged to contact the Arroyo Grande Police Department at 805-473-5100. An anonymous time can be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
